I'm really not sure that a 4c/4t 2200G is much of an upgrade over a 4c/8t 2700k. Might even be a downgrade. Get at least a Ryzen 2600, depending on what your performance goals are.

 

Also, please just post a PCPP link. An image is not very useful.

I mean, if OP just wants that foot in the door for the Ryzen upgrade path it's not a terrible idea

 

although @TorrentYE do you already have a graphics card? If so, just get this instead

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

It is a terrible idea if the immediate swap results in the same or worse performance. The Ryzen upgrade path argument only makes sense if you are doing an intermediate upgrade now and a bigger upgrade later on. Spending money for no performance gain is always bad, because OP can save money by skipping the intermediate step, or by waiting longer for the same hardware to go down in value.
