Help. I bought a new gaming laptop, got BSOD as soon after I try to play a game

I bought a new gaming laptop (nitro 5), and then got BSOD as soon after I try to play a game (for honor). I suspect because I didn't update my gpu driver first? Should I be worried and RMA/claim warranty? Let me know what tou guys think.

Anyways, what was the BSOD error? Since you just bought it not much troubleshooting is worth doing IMO, but we can cover the basics before just turning to RMA.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

Than update the GPU driver, run the game again and if it does BSOD again RMA it.
Sounds like a reasonable course of action, doesn't it?

Though it should not BSOD, even with an old driver. These systems are usually “ready out of the box” but perhaps, knowing how incompetent ubisoft is, it's simply for honor, so might try some other games, a benchmark or stress test.

You should try and google the stop code error.

Yeah but it's enough for me because it has gtx 1650 and 9th gen i5 and perform better than 1050ti

hi! So you're suggesting to RMA it? However I already updated it but I cant seem to get the game into fullscreen and it has low fps. Some say the nvidia geforce what caused it when it tries to optimize the game. I'll try and run again and see what happens after I get back home

I really don't think it's worth more than basic troubleshooting, since you can RMA it.
