Move hard disk to external enclosure

I had a computer with Linux installed on an SSD and it had an hard disk formatted in ext4 that I was using just to store files, can I move the hard disk to an external enclosure and attach it to another Linux machine?

Thanks

Yes that should just work. You might have to mount it manually in the worst case. But thats not very likely.

Ok thank you, I was trying to pass it through a VM but it wasn't working, it worked with an USB pendrive so I was beginning to doubt that was possible to just move the hard disk to the external enclosure and being recognized by Linux.
