I attached a file with a few things I found to build a PC. I really don't know if it is good deal and I don't know if they are compatible with each other. If I am missing anything that I also need please tell me.

First thing I'll say before I look through that list is check out https://pcpartpicker.com, it automatically checks compatibility and is a whole lot more organized than just a text document

Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen R7 3700X @4.4Ghz, GPU: Gigabyte RX 5700 XT, RAM: 32 GB (2x 8GB Trident Z Royal + 2x 8GB TForce Vulkan Z) @3000Mhz, Motherboard: ASRock B550m Steel Legend, Storage: 1x WD Black 1Tb NVMe (boot) + 1x Samsung 860 QVO 1Tb SSD (storage), Case: Thermaltake Core V21, Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

Try https://pcpartpicker.com/list/, it should tell you if stuff is compatible. It should also give you a rough idea which components you need.

The usual things to check would be:

- Do motherboard and CPU have/use the same socket

- Does the motherboard support the type of RAM you want to use

- Is the CPU cooler for your type of CPU (AMD/Intel)

- Does the motherboard have the type of slot needed by your GPU

Remember to either quote or @mention others, so they are notified of your reply

You didn't include storage, RAM, or an overall budget, so I used the prices you already wrote down as a starting point:

You could go for a Ryzen 5 3600 for more performance, if you feel like going through the hassle of possibly having to update the motherboard BIOS. I didn't include a CPU cooler because the ryzen stock cooler is good enough most of the time.

edit: I also just noticed your original list was in canadian dollars and I made that list in USD, so that might be a problem oops

Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen R7 3700X @4.4Ghz, GPU: Gigabyte RX 5700 XT, RAM: 32 GB (2x 8GB Trident Z Royal + 2x 8GB TForce Vulkan Z) @3000Mhz, Motherboard: ASRock B550m Steel Legend, Storage: 1x WD Black 1Tb NVMe (boot) + 1x Samsung 860 QVO 1Tb SSD (storage), Case: Thermaltake Core V21, Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

1) If you really want to use a 9400f, you need to update that motherboards bios. Either you should have a coffee lake cpu ( Intel 8 series ) or the seller should sell with bios update. Otherwise the computer will not boot

2) As mentioned above by Rx570 and Ryzen 5 2600 is cheaper and better than that 1050ti and 9400f.

3) If you still want the 9400f, you don't need a cooler as the 9400f can't really be overclocked anyways ( unless you want less sound and a better look I suppose)

4) You are missing RAM and Storage

here is the Pcpartpicker link for your current build ( price in usd )

here is what I recommend for around the same Price

What's your budget ?

Here's a configuration based on the tight 1000$ canadian dollars budget.

Note that I'm saving some money by using the stock cooler that's good enough, but it will be a bit noisy. When you have more money, you can buy fancy water cooling.

May have to choose another SSD, the Lexar seems good but may not be in stock at those companies or sold out... price is good for the performance.

Please don't get anything less than 23.5" for 1080p ... monitor is something you won't upgrade often. Better spend a few more dollars and get something you won't be pissed about (and the pixels are just too small at 1080p / 21.5")

If you can stretch budget, I'd consider this AOC 27" model : https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/z7Nv6h/aoc-27v2h-270-1920x1080-75-hz-monitor-27v2h
