hi guys

i bought Day Z but it was boring and buggy but mostly boring

Duken nukem 3D have VERY buggy multiplayer  server issues

Rust is meh

 

 

any other suggestions ?

Stop buying early access titles if you're expecting a polished game you silly person. :P

 

I might suggest Insurgency. It plays like a mix between Red Orchestra 2 and Counter Strike, it's excellent IMO. Tactical shooter combat, objective-based with a definite focus towards realism without being stifling.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

You could finish that? I tried beating it with cheats as a kid and still had to cheat past the last level, couldn't figure it out.

 

Anyway, if you haven't tried them yet I can recommend both FTL and Gunpoint. FTL will kill you a lot and take over your life, and Gunpoint is short but fun. Unless you're looking for multi-player, at which point I don't have good recommendations.

 

Though I also don't play anything in the same vein as those in the OP, so you might disregard this anyway.

You seem to like close to mod level things, so I would suggest Just Cause 2 Multiplayer mod :D

Also the main game as well....

 

Perhaps you would enjoy Counter Strike, Blacklight Retribution, and TEAM FORTRESS, Garry's mod.

Bioshock Infinite for an awesome story line and a solid shooter.

BF4 If you don't mind the bugs atm.

Counter Strike Global Offensive. (Demolition's the best)

Mass Effect series

Just Cause 2, the campaign isn't all that great but if you download the multiplayer mod its heaps of fun.

Loadout, a f2p third person shooter. Don't be despised by its looks cause its very gory :)

Half Life series, They are awesome... Theres also the Black Mesa mod for Half life 1 which makes it look amazing.

Skyrim, theres heaps of mods for it.

PayDay 2, play it with 3 other friends.

Hotline Miami, great if you only want to play for like 10-20min but can also play for hours.

Dishonored for a good stealth game with great textures and art.

The Walking dead

Tomb Raider, one of the best stories ever.

i actually was in the first ever JC2 multiplayer mod days

 

played CS for 5 years since 2000 :) i still play on and off

i did play black light a while ago but i completely forgot about it thanks for reminding me :) i download it now

really fun huh!

 

Yeah Blacklight is awesome, but if you're not up to scratch on your skills it's kind of like D: WOOO I should get back into this I forgot how good people are, and how much better I WAS xD

 

Also sweet CS is awesome!

The Walking dead its more of a sit and watch story than a game right ?

Tomb Raider, one of the best stories ever.  i was amazingly surprised at the Tomb raider game it was magnificent felt like playing the frist TR on my ps1

Metro Last Light  played both metro games 10/10

Dayz standalone is boring as hell at the moment but i am hopeful. Ive just been playing the dayz mod alot and battlefield 4

how good is the Day z mod ? (what are the differences ? )

im sure the stand alone version will soon become the same as the MOD one since its still in early alpha

well the mod doesn't look as good but its just so much easier and it has all the vehicles, guns, mods everything. For example you need to eat every bloody 10 seconds in standalone or you need so much stuff just for basic medical things whereas the mod has just a bloodbag etc or you eat and are fine for quite a while. The mod is much more simple but has the whole army aspect because its a mod of arma 2. Standalone looks better graphically and has enterable buildings but goes over the top the point where its a pain in the ass. The mod is way more army orientated and is a little less survival based but i enjoy it much more. There is just too much shit in standalone idk.

i honestly cant tell the number ( In hundreds ) of houres i spend in KF instead of L4D and any other zombie/specimen/survival game.

My description would be: Fun game to play with your friends(or online friends) online, you can choose your perk, a map you want to play on ( so much of them, custom ), style of playing for example you can set up a "camp" spot and shoot until you die :D or round ends. It has alot of weapons, fun voices, VOIP, player base,  okay graphics,

War Thunder. Best F2P on Steam. Doesn't matter if you don't like flight sims, nobody ever installed War Thunder and didn't like it.

 

Nobody  :lol:

 

If it absolutely has to be an FPS, try Natural Selection 2 or Red Orchestra 2, but I warn you, they have a brutal learning curve so they're not for the faint hearted.

 

Most other FPSes right now seem like garbage.
