Someone please help

So my AMD 8350 is currently stuck to the heat sink, I need some advice how to get it off

Hair dryer to heat it up and try to twist it.

If that doesn't work or you are too scared to use too much force, use a little rope to cut through the thermal paste.

What have you all tried to remove it?

You can gently pull on it and at the same time twist.
Don't worry, as long as you don't bent any pins you can't damage anything.

Twisting it gently and Tring to get dental floss under it (Google told me to)

I too have come to forums soliciting advice on how to get off

 

Some alcohol soaked and a little razor gently on the edges might be all you need to pop it off

Why would it get stuck, that is wierd.  It's just thermal paste not freakin glue ,, sighs.

the same reason why suction cups work:
