You need a better GPU. 270X is a horrible match with a 4770K

270x is fine... not everybody needs 200 gazzillion fps in game.

Lower CPU and increase GPU

270x is fine... not everybody needs 200 gazzillion fps in game.

For most games, some it won't reach 60fps in. There's also the issues of what the low end it hits is, but reviewers that find that out are few and far between.

I'd say a 780 would be a more rounded card.

I like the build other than the graphics card. But it entirely depends on what games you play.

I'd avoid anything OCZ related, so the PSU would go.

Then why get an i7? It's a mismatched build, if the OP can't afford a better gpu, and is gaming, then they should downgrade to an i5 and put the money saved towards a better GPU.

I'd swap the 700W for something like a 500W PSU as that will be more than enough to power this build. I'd also downgrade from an i7 to an i5 and use the extra money for a better GPU.

The title of the thread is "critique my rig"... meaning he already has it. It's not like he's gonna recoup much from reselling his 4770k on the used market and then buying a 4670k and then using the money to buy a better gpu.

If the psu starts having issues then I'll purchase a new one around 500-650 watt from Corsair or Fractal Design or another good company

I have enough funds to purchase a new gpu so if I would see a significant difference buy purchasing a GTX 770 or a 780 as opposed to using a 270X what would do you guys think would be a good option?

270x is still a very capable card and as long as you're satisfied with it (getting good frame rates at decent detail settings), I don't see the reason to upgrade. Not everybody needs a triple sli 780ti rig after all. If I was you I would definitely wait for some new gpus to come out (maxwell gpus in particular will come this year)...

It would be kind of silly to buy another gpu when you've just bought a 270x..

Has nothing to do with exploiting people. Also try $89.99-39.99 difference depending on where you buy them. They cost $399.99-289.99. You are saving $70.00 on Amazon.
