SO i was cleaning my pc and i tought i May just change thermal paste while i do it so. I remove The old paste and put on some new and put back The fan. But now that i plug everything back in, The pc just keeps shutting down and turn on after 10 seconds.  Is The fan loose bubbles from The paste? I didnt put much and I made sure to spread a thin layer. Would apprecite any help

Bubbles work their way out as the cooler is pressed down and even more so as the CPU warms up so that's very much not the issue assuming you secured it properly. What type of cooler is it? Did you verify the fan(s) is spinning?

Do you think the computer will stay on long enough for you to get into the BIOS and check the CPU temp?

Can you check if the heatsink is getting warm?

Sounds like a bad mount and the CPU is overheating. Probably the push-pins aren't all the way in.

I did have some problem with setting it in place. I did remove The CPU fan and I think 2 or 1 was loose tho. And I dont think there is time tbh it shuts off like after 10 seconds. But i Will try to check that its completly in and try again

I never liked Intel's stock-fan design. The repetitive reliability of those push-pins and ease of use aren't great. AMD just has a rocker & leaver arm. Hook one side, turn the leaver, hook the other side, turn the leaver, done. It's locked down tight. None of this push-pin crap.

Totally agree, haven't used push-pins for a long time now personally.. except for my brothers i3 that I built for him a fair while back, think it's 4th gen.

You can can half-decent coolers for around £20-£30 nowadays, and TBH that's worth the cost to have decent mounts and cooling.

Sounds like it may not have properly secured itself into the mounting holes then. Those pegs wear out and stop latching as well as they did on day 1. (With repetitive use I mean.)

What CPU specifically, though guessing it's not a beefy one as you've got a basic cooler right now.

Off the top of my head:-

be quiet pure rock slim + pure rock

but there are tons, just go to here set your country, and then can filter by socket type needed.
