Fan for my Phanteks cooler

Tea1337

So, with it getting warmer out side and I want to be prepared to cool my 4960x, so I was thinking about buying 2 of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835213001  Should I purchase them?

240CF/M, enough air flow, but my computer will be quite loud. I don't honestly want to water cool as of now, the rig get's hauled to a friend on the weekends and it's already heavy enough, and I don't want it to start leaking in the car.

OH DEAR! Don't get those even though they move a large amount of air. The sound is not worth it.

Wanna hang out with me and people like @Theslsamg, @ Ssoele, @BENTHEREN, @Lanoi, @Whiskers, @_ASSASSIN_, @Looney, @WunderWuffle, and @nsyedhasan. Well.... Check out: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/48484-unofficial-linustechtips-teamschnitzel-server-teamspeak/

How about this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835706036

Less cfm and rpm. I'll probably get a controller so when it get's hot I can turn up the speed.

those fans dont like too good, the bearing is giant for a 120mm, if that was a 80mm then that proportion is fine but that fan looks rubbish, never heard of the company and i doubt the air is any good(at standard rpm), hell even getting a simple zalman fan would be better and zalman fans suck ass. 5000rpm is crazy loud, wouldnt go that far, for an example, max the r9 290 and just think that maxs at 3000rpm.

This is cheaper and better, at everything

I'd say just get Gentle Typhoons because they perform well and don't make too much sound. Just get the 1850RPM version.

Delta fans are for moving huge amounts of air on a server environment, they will last years. But I don't think it's worth it.

There are plenty of premium fans that will make your PC quiet and cool.

i've had 3 of those. they are quite loud at full speed but you would be surprised how quiet they are at 5v. you would only need one to put on your heatsink as well. i wouldn't plug one into a motherboard fan header though, or put your thumb in it.

Rig Specs:

AMD Threadripper 5990WX@4.8Ghz

Asus Zenith III Extreme

Asrock OC Formula 7970XTX Quadfire

G.Skill Ripheartout X OC 7000Mhz C28 DDR5 4X16GB

good. i haven't even tried running one on a heatsink yet. i cant find a good way the mount them so that they won't fall off. they are 38mm thick so you can't use standard fan clips.
