My Computer Keeps Typing The Letter V

Ineedhelpwithmyletterv

Whenever I press Enter, a v is typed at the end of the sentence. It's really annoying, not sure how to fix it. It started in minecraft and I didn't know the key for something so I pressed every key individually and then this happened when I asked how to do it. It's really annoying.

what keyboard do you have? Sounds like you may have inadvertently created a macro and may need to reset your keyboard.. yes its a thing with modern macroable keyboards.

Could just be your V key sticking on your keyboard. Did you spill anything on it, are there crumbs or lots of dust on it? Does this happen with a different keyboard? Does this happen with the same keyboard in a different computer?

What @Skiiwee29 said might actually be the issue. But the above could help someone else.

It only does it whenever I press "Enter" or if I try typing v it'll automatically press Enter

Then as @Skiiwee29 suggested, it sounds like you set up a macro by mistake. What keyboard do you have? You can likely go into your keyboard's software and remove/disable the macro.

This is the funniest post ever.  Poor guy, you have to limit yourself now and now use V  ,, lol  or regain that key and RMA her.

If I press Enter, it types v AND Enters.. if I type v it types v and also presses Enter. If I press 5, it types 5 and 6. If I press 6 it types 5 and 6. Why what when how.

I tried restarting my computer and unplugging and plugging back in my keyboard.

As far as i know, yes. I've only pressed the ones that I would normally press, not any others. I'll try them though.

Use this site to test: https://www.keyboardtester.com

You can see what key is being pressed at the same time as the others.

Also remember to quote the person you're replying to, so that they receive a notification that you've responded.

The quote button is under their post and looks like an arrow pointing to the left.

Thanks.
