Corsair SF600 + Ryzen 9 3900x + GTX 1080 ti...

LJA

Hi, I'm building a new rig, an ITX one (Lian Li PC q39). What do you think? I'm falling short with my PSU? I want to keept if SFX because of the CASE and that I'm planning to adquire a real ITX one like the Loqe one in the near future.

Other parts are the ones in my current rig in my signature

Thanxs in advance!

it's good enough. the 3900x realistically wont pull more than 200w down the CPU power connector, maybe 50w for your storage drives and fans, there's still 350w left for the GPU. If you're worried, just dont let the GPU run with raised power limits.

CPU: i7-2600K 4751MHz 1.44V (software) --> 1.47V at the back of the socket Motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme4 (BCLK: 103.3MHz) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 RAM: Adata XPG 2x8GB DDR3 (XMP: 2133MHz 10-11-11-30 CR2, custom: 2203MHz 10-11-10-26 CR1 tRFC:230 tREFI:14000) GPU: Asus GTX 1070 Dual (Super Jetstream vbios, +70(2025-2088MHz)/+400(8.8Gbps)) SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB (main boot drive), Transcend SSD370 128GB PSU: Seasonic X-660 80+ Gold Case: Antec P110 Silent, 5 intakes 1 exhaust Monitor: AOC G2460PF 1080p 144Hz (150Hz max w/ DP, 121Hz max w/ HDMI) TN panel Keyboard: Logitech G610 Orion (Cherry MX Blue) with SteelSeries Apex M260 keycaps Mouse: BenQ Zowie FK1

If you're worried about it, get the SF750 instead.

Hi man, more than worried, I want to be sure that it will work fine. It would be quite expensive for  me to adquire a new PSU..the Corsair  I've already have is quite new either. BUT! if it might be some concern, well I'll make the effort of looking if I can buy  a bigger one (the sf750 or some new Seasonic)

There's a new SFX Seasonic over 600W that better than the SF Series?

Got a link?

Someone told me that there ws a new 650W sfx by Seasonic, but I've never seen it, so maybe he was wrong in the wattage?

Yeah.  That's not SFX.  That's SFX-L.

BTW jonny, since one of my brothers is in need of a PSU, I was thinking of giving him my SF600, while ordering for myself a SF750, what do you think of this last one? I guess is fine since you recommend it to me, or do you think I have a better SFX option?...and lastly I've a set of extra premium sleeved larger cables for my SF600, TYPE4 ones, the exact model is CP-8920151, are they going to be compatible with the SF750 in case that I buy one?..thanks in advance man!

SF Series uses Type 4 cables.

There's plenty of (proper) reviews of Corsair's SF750 out there.  You don't have to take my word for it.
