Is my motherboard or cpu broken? Can't get into bios

Go to solution Solved by Jurrunio,

if the bios is fine, then maybe you forgot to plug in the CPU power connector on the top left of the board or the big ATX 24pin on the right of the board or the two PCIe power connectors on the graphics card or forgot the memory sticks.

If the BIOS is not fine, you'll need an older CPU to flash it. This board cannot flash its bios on its own.

Hi there,

I have a few questions. I bought a new pc with a 3700x the x470 aorus ultra gaming and a saphire pulse 5700xt. Is it normal that the screen stays black when i try to boot it up? There is also a red light on the cpu. As a side note there was a sticker on the package of the MB saying ryzen 3000 ready. I did build a few pc's so far but i never did a bios update....so can someone please help me fix this or tell me if it is broken, please.
