So, I have a pair of HyperX Cloud II headphones that aren't mine. The part of the cord where the 3.5MM jack is broke and is kind bad looking anyhow. I replaced the cable on a set of one of my headphones but I can't seem to find the replacement cable for these. It needs the barrel connector with four contacts, left, right, mic, and common. Problem is I think I need one without an inline mic, does anyone know where you can get replacement headphone cables like this. The set I repaired before only needed the three contacts, but because these have the mic they need four contacts.

You're looking for a cable with a 4 pin 3.5mm jack, often called TRRS (as opposed to TRS).

Are both ends the same connector?

No, so I need one end to be TRRS, but the other end needs to just be bare, the pair of headphones needs a new cable, I can solder one in if I can find the replacement cable, but all the ones I find seem to have the inline mic, which I don't need or won't work.

You could probably just buy a full on TRRS to TRRS cable and just snip off one end and solder that to the headphone.

That solution will work, I was just wondering if maybe anyone knew of a place where you can get cables that haven't been terminated on one end yet.
