recommend a keyboard

could anyone recommend a cheap keyboard that works before Windows is turned on beacuse my current keyboard only starts working after Windows is on and i cant get into the bios cause it doesn't work before Windows finishes loading.

Any stock lenovo / dell keyboards should work..

Pick up the cheapest one you can get on Amazon, that is what I did for a situation where I needed a keyboard for just one task.

the amazon basic one is actully pretty good.

I would just go to a thrift store and pick up whatever they have for a keyboard there. They always seem to have 30+ keyboards for some reason no matter how big the store any time I've been in one and they're usually <$5.

Any USB keyboard will work.  Don't need to have one recommended, just grab anything you find for free or borrow.

this might actually be a BIOS setting! I've seen in old BIOSes an option to disable the KB/M input until the OS loads, you might need to reset your BIOS

i. borrowed my friend keyboard once and it worked perfectly and i got into the bios
