I am moving my computer into a new apartment and wanted to know the best way to transport it there. It's going to be a several hour drive and I kept the original box for my case that came in fairly sturdy packaging, but what should I be concerned about regarding the internals. Also, would using the amazon air bag packaging inside the pc be enough?

Personally I would probably remove my GPU from the system. Place that in an antistatic bag and protective box (like the original packaging or similar).

If you have a large air cooler, that would be wise to remove as well, keeping in mind you should clean your CPU and cooler and apply new thermal paste afterwards.

If it's a tower lay it on it's side so the heaviest parts aren't hanging when you hit up and down bumps. Pack some blankets or pillows under it to absorb bumps. If it's been a few years then pulling the cooler and re-pasting is a good idea anyway so may as well pull the cooler and transit it separately.

Thank you all for the replies!

So would a liquid cpu cooler be alright or should I remove that too?

A liquid cooler would be fine.

An air cooler is a big piece of aluminium hanging off your motherboard, while a water cooler is a lot less weight directly on your motherboard (only having a relative small pump on the motherboard and the radiator mounted elsewhere).
