MY CPU is at 100% but in taskmaneger its at 30

hey!

 

when i play games my cpu says its running at 100% usage and 105 degrese at riva turner but when i look in the task maneger every thing looks fine but my fps is  between 1-5

what could the problem be?

 

 

i5 3450

amd readeon r9 200 hd 7900

You should check your cooling solution, a CPU should never get that hot under load. Maybe ensure that there is contact between the cooler and the CPU. You may even want to take the cooler off and put it back on.

 

The Low FPS is going to be from the CPU clock speed being reduced because the chip is too hot. Therefore, it will be giving "100%" under its circumstances, but it could be much higher if the temps were lower, which is what task manager is probably reading.

@Opencircuit74 could not have said it better. 

 

If I were you I'd make sure your fans are running at the correct speed, check the thermal paste application and re-apply if needed.

And a good scan with Malwarebytes or smth
