RTX 2080TI 3072MB?

Bush Badger
Go to solution Solved by TheKDub,

What game? What driver version?

Might just be a bug. Check if GPU-Z reports the correct amount. (Or even Task Manager if you're on Windows 10 1803 or higher. Under the performance tab you should be able to select your GPU)

Was doing some ingame settings and realized it said my card is a RTX 2080TI 3072mb? Surely I have more than 3GB of memory or am I missing something here?

If it doesn't affect anything, it doesn't matter. Just check task manager to make sure it doesn't say 3GB, if it does... something is wrong.

8700K @ 5.2ghz 1.29V, 4x8 Rev.E @ 4040 13-20-20-39 1.7V.

Yeah, probably just a bug with the game then. What game was it?

nono it is the same thing as 970gtx, you have 11GB .. just the 8 of them are sharing ressources, so they actually will be slower than just running a cache on your SSD ?

It might just be a game reserve element, 3 GB sounds like what is needed to pull high textures in 1920x1080

Seems like it's an issue with the game and happens with other cards too. Someone said the game is 32-bit which is causing the issue, which could make sense.
