Razer Keyboard switch not working

Go to solution Solved by minibois,

Razer Green is a clicky switch, much like Cherry MX Blue.

Anyways, there is a lot that could be wrong with the keyboard, but if it's just one key consistently it's likely a broken keyswitch. Somewhat easy to fix with some time, screwdrivers and soldering iron (and soldering supplies like wick, solder, flux and proper fume equipment).

Just depends on how confident you are in that sort of repair..

But simply put, open up the keyboard, desolder the Q-key (and LED) take out a key you never use (e.g. Scroll Lock) and place that proper keyswitch in the place of the Q.

Or you can buy some replacement switches, but here would be a chance the new switch will feel different than your current keyboard switches.

So i got home today and while playing the best game ever(Rocket League) i noticed my keyboard didnt work properly.
The "Q" button is acting up, it only registers less than 50% of my strokes.
I ve had this Razer Blackwidow Chroma for like 5 years now.

Is there a way to fix it?

Also, can u recommend me a good switch i can find on corsair keyboards that feels like my razer greens?

Edit: I use an azerty keyboard so i use the Q in literally every game....

I am here to learn, please correct me if im wrong or you see me putting bs on your screen!
