When performance no longer meets your standards.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Well yes, the RX5700XT is a really big upgrade but you should make sure your power supply and over all system is up to it.

This is based at what gmes do you play if you get 60fps on the games you play on a 60hz monitor then there is no need to change right now. The rx5700 xt will be a good upgrade but i think it has thermal issues.

The aftermarket versions like the powercolor one stated above don't have issues like that.

That's why I break mine twice.

Oh ok then its fine if he wants to upgrade but if the games he is playing dont need it there is no reason to.

When should I upgrade my GTX 970 FE and what should I upgrade it to. I've been thinking and looking at the "PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT Red Devil" is it worth it to upgrade to it?

Depends.

1) What kind of games do you play? The 970 is still a really solid card for 1080p 60fps gaming. Similar to the GTX 1060.

2) What kind of monitor do you have? You don't need to upgrade unless you have a 1080p 120/144Hz monitor or 1440p monitor.

3) Can your power supply handle the graphics card? If not you'll have to get another one. See if there's an 8 pin wire. If not then you'll need another power supply.

You don't NEED to upgrade unless you have a monitor that's more than 1080p 60Hz. Though if you want to, then yes the RX 5700 XT is a very good option for a graphics card.

1) VR games, Rainbow 6 Siege, Arma 3 and etc
2) 144Hz 1080p

3) Recently upgraded my 450w to 750w (Corsair RM750X v2 PSU)

Yeah the RX 5700 XT is capable of even 1440p at 144Hz at medium to high settings. You should be able to get very good performance out of it. Though if your CPU is too weak then there might be a problem. If it's anything weaker than a Ryzen 5 1600 then you might consider getting a 5700 instead of the XT or else it'll be wasted frames. Otherwise, really solid option and you should be able to run the card without issues.

Plenty. You'll be fine and no bottlenecks. I've seen it pair with the RTX 2080 Ti and not cause any issues.
