Asking for my mother.

She does prefer Android, but said she wanted to know what all the options were for that price range and how they compared.

Her priorities are good camera and good battery life.

Are you on an upgrade plan or are you buying outright?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Buying outright, as far as I know.

I haven't heard about any upgrade plans, but I could swing it past her and see how it goes.

If she wants to try out an iPhone, maybe wait till September, and then get an 8 Plus or something similar (maybe even an X if she doesn’t care if it’s refurbished).

....just a thought...

I got a ps5 and a pc pretty ballin

If she's due for a budget phone replacement from her carrier, a note 9 may well fit in your budget. If not, consider the note 8 instead. This thing lasts all damn day and the camera seems pretty good to me (but maybe my standards are low)

Well, I would recommend the Samsung S9, it has a good camera and a good battery life.

CDMA or GSM?

What she currently using? What are her complaints about it? What about it she does not want to lose? Know her usage pattern?

Give me the info I need to find the phone thats made for her, and not someone else.

And no, 3000mAh battery will not translate to good battery life. Thats the low end of the spectrum. "lasts me the whole day" does not mean it will be same case with your mom.

GSM.

Galaxy S7. Battery is run down. I don't know too much about her usage pattern.

Currently she's thinking S9 or S9+.

I think he is referring to how we do things in the US. You lease to own your phone. So your plan is lets say $40 a month then you pay $20 a month for your phone on top of that. Many people stay in perpetual leases, as T Mobile will let you switch devices like yearly or even sooner depending on what Jump program your on.

I myself buy my own devices outright to keep the bill lower. My mom has the LG Q7+, I dont here her bitching about it, like she did with her S7. Though Im not sure about battery life and Camera. She might charge it once a day, but she doesnt use her phone like I do.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
