Hi everyone. I am about to go under a full water cool.

So I will be immediately water cooling 3 GPUs, and have a 480 and 360 rads. I will be adding Threadripper 3000 when that is launched later this year (?).

I will be building in the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe 2 for those wondering.

I was hoping someone could give me some advice on what pump or pumps to get. I don't know if I need one or two pumps or DDC or D5 pumps. I was planning on getting a dual D5 setup until I saw a video of someone building in the same case, with even more water cooling and from the looks of it, they used a single D5.

Any help is appreciated!

a D5 will probably do it

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

get a dual D5 or a DDC if you are worried, i would guess its ok but im hardly a pump expert

Think u'd be surprised what a single D5 can do.

Never the less if ur worried, simply buy a single D5, put the loop together on a table or something, just temporary, and run the loop measuring flow rate in a bucket/jug.

So long as ur above 0.5GPM, ideally closer to 1 GPM. ur fine. Anything above 1GPM is rather pointless due to diminishing returns, and below 0.5GPM u can start noticing temperature differences.

Thanks for that advice!! I think I'll do that.

Used a single D5 with 3 gpu's, cpu, ram, vrm, chipset, 280rand and 360 rad. 27/7 use, no issues. Had it run more in other builds.

If you really wary about loop restriction you can run all your 3 gpu’s in parallel and 1 d5 will be plenty (you can use a special terminal or just use fittings and tubes)
