TIM for Long Term Usage

What is the best TIM for long term use that is non conductive?  This would be for a Threadripper processor and would not be overclocked.  Just looking for a nonconductive solution that won't break down or turn nasty for 5-10 years.

hmm some ceramic paste probably,

Anything premium. Though these things aren't tested for aging as you will more likely change something anyway in 5 years. Noctua for example gives 2 year "warranty" for their paste. That's the period for their quality control testing.

I'm wondering if this might be an application for a graphite pad. As a solid it doesn't change state so should remain as good in future as on day 1. It is conductive but doesn't move after installation.

 

I only tried one myself recently, temps were a bit higher than with high end paste but if not overclocking it is probably good enough.

I wouldn't mind going with a thermal pad however I'm not sure if there is a size that will fit the thread ripper die

Those are conductive, so one does have to be careful with them. They're also fragile. That said...they last practically forever. I am going to be buying a bunch soonish and slapping them on my servers and all the laptops, myself, just so I never have to bother with thermal-paste ever again.
