Mining on Linux

Hello again!

Ive a weak system ( E8400, P5Q-E, 2 GB ram, CX700m ) and a 7950 for mining.

Since 2GB of ram isnt enough for windows mining, im thinking of installing linux on it for mining,

So i was wondering, which one to install and/ or how to set it up?

Hey there. You are looking mighty fine today, have my virtual cookie!

I had a pretty good experience with Xubuntu for my mining rig, very easy to set up and work with. In general though a lot of the distributions will do and behave exactly the same for you, I don't think you should think so much about which one you choose as long as you choose a respectable distribution.
