Goto Intel from Ryzen?

Well I mean you have a 3600x but 3200 mhz ram. No matter which Ryzen 3k cpu you get your not going to get the maximum out of it on 3200. So if your not into maximizing your ram timings and memory overclocking and thermal managing getting an intel cpu might in fact be an easier thing if you really need that last bit of performance. Or you might get a 2080 ti or you might get higher clocked ram with lower timings. if you want absolutely the best performance possible there is a lotof ways. but that 3600x shouldn't be under preforming compared to a 9700k.

Hypershreading is what Tony hawk used to do.

"Hyperthreading" is what intell calls it when 1 core has multiple threads "simultaneous multi threading" or "smt" is exactly the same just under a different moniker but yes 9700k would for in the most part a downgrade and while yes hold a performance overage over say the 3700x in some cases these are still vary early days for these 3000 series chips so performance updates are sure to come
