Would I be able to hit 1440p 144hz with a 1070/Ti at these settings?

Bethesda PC:   R7 3700X  -  Asrock B550 Extreme 4  -  Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 16GB@3.6GHz -  Zotac AMP Extreme 1080TI -  Samsung 860 Evo 256GB  -  WD Blue 2TB SSD -  500DX  -  Stock cooling lul  -  Rm650x

Yeah, probably.

With my R7 1700 and GTX 1080, I have a 1440p144hz monitor, I run very high / ultra on everything and 2x msaa and FXAA. I get about 100fps average, my cpu is bottlenecking. With an R7 3700 you wouldn't really have that bottlenecking problem, so lowering the settings should give you fine results with a 1070 Ti, the 1070 would probably have to stick to medium

Just sharing - in GTA 5 I have a 40+ FPS increase going from stock frequencies to an aggressive OC on my R7 1700 with an R9 Fury if you are looking to free up that 1080

I was at 4ghz, until I degraded my chip. not only that, but my cooler sucks so /shrug

Yeah I had to custom loop to get temps agreeable, amazing little overclockers however

You'll be fine. My 980ti does like 80fps on heavy titles and 100+ on lighter titles with my 4770. 

 

Don't stress too much about maxing out the 144hz. Imo above 90fps there's less of a difference. You'll be happy with a 1070/ti

Until youre like me and can easily tell the difference between 120 and 144
