Rtx 2060 vs Rx 5700

Hey guys!

 

The MSI RTX 2060 gaming z is on sale. Its sale price is around 422 usd. While the price of the of the Msi rx 5700 mech oc is priced at 480 usd. And the sapphire rx 5700 is also priced at 480 usd. 

 

My question is if the 5700 is so much better than the rtx 2060 and its worth the money compared to the gaming z on sale?

You could get an RTX 2070 Super for MSRP at $500. If you're looking to upgrade I would recommend that. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/shop/geforce/gpu/?page=1&limit=9&locale=en-us&category=GPU&gpu=RTX 2070 SUPER If you monitor the site diligently you can catch them in stock.

The 5700 is much faster than a 2060 and is on the same level as a 2060 Super and 2070. The 5700 XT is about the same as a 2070 Super

I am currently buidling a new system its between either the rtx 2060 or the rx 5700, but i will defintily be looking at the rtx 2070 but its priced at 556 usd

It's currently stocked at 500 USD on the Nvidia site. At least in my country

The price difference is the only thing i am concerned about, is it worth the 60 dollar difference?

Yes, easily. You get a more powerful card with more memory.

K. Thx Feel like an idiot for calling it german currency. Anyway, if that's the best deal you can get on your country, I recommend going for the 2060 super over the 2070 because that would offer a better price to performance. The 5700xt is a decent choice as well. Depends on if you care about ray tracing and other Nvidia exclusive features. If you don't, go with AMD.

xD don’t call urself an idiot. I am actually in the price range between the rtx 2060 and the rx 5700... if i went with an 2060 super it is over the budget.

Can you judge my parts before i buy them?

i have already bought the rm650x psu. It went for 700kr so i bought it instantly.

 

msi b450 tomahawk max

cpu- ryzen 5 3600

rx 5700- sapphire or the msi one not sure yet

Ssd crucial p1 500tb

hdd- seagate barracuda 1tb

case:nzxt h500

cooler; silentium fortis 3

corsair vengance lpx ddr4 3600mhz cl 18 rgb version

well. the sapphire pulse and powercolor models are the two best cheap ones afaik.
