GPU sagging

Hi 

I think my gpu seems to be sagging a little bit. is this anything to worry about or is this normal? my card is 2080 so its pretty heavy, i got a support bracket with the gpu but it looks terrible lol so didnt fit it.

my card has been if for 9 months, just asking if this is fine or if i need to fit the support bracket.

If you have had it in there for 9 months and there haven't been any problems, there probably won't be. To be safe you can buy one like this that I personally think looks fine.

Can't really tell any sag, your pics are kinda terrible for too close and bad angles.  While I am sorry I had to critique your photo skillz... I totally know what you mean.

 

Hence the VGA holder thing in my sig.

 

But no, you won't have damage from the sag.  Other youtubers have commented on it a lot over the years.

I suggest that you fit the support bracket and if that does not work, I would suggest getting a better case.

 

RTX 2080 is a big card and so it does need extra support.

There does seem to be a bit of sag, but unless you want to look good there are plenty of free ways to deal with that sag.

 

Btw the last picture is the only useful picture

Do u think it would get any worse? it been 9 month

It is 100% fine.

You can use the GPU cables to hold it up if you don't like how it looks sagging.

Probably not.  Btw, here is how the support thing looks without the side panel on.  It's nigh invisible with the panel on tho...
