Corsair AF140 alternatives

Imabigmac

So I want one another fan for my case, I don't want to spend any thing past $20. Would like a 140mm but I can go with 120mm. I was really down for an af140 but I heard its not all that great so does anyone have a better fan to suggest? I want it quiet and its for the bottom of the case if that means anything. Not really looking for a bunch of noctua comments.

I have some BitFenix Spectre Pros and am pretty happy with them. They're not all that

phenomenal performers, but among the 13 fans I have none have so far exhibited bearing

or motor noises. If you don't need that much power if's a pretty decent fan IME.

EDIT:

I also have some SP120's (yeah I know, they're not AF140's), and I can say for certain

that while they do have a bit more punch than the Spectre Pros they are rather loud

for their performance. I don't know if the AF140s are comparable but I would not really

recommend the SP120 from my personal experiences (unless you're not that bothered by

the noise and want the looks, which I do quite like I must admit).

The Cougar Turbine 140mm fans are a good choice. They are pretty quiet imo (have the 120mm version but don't think the 140 will be much louder) and are able to be undervolted which is great.
