LTT Merch in Europe + UK

mintlou

This gets talked about time and time again on the LTT forum, but there must be a way of allowing European fans to buy LTT merch.

The main arguments I see on here are that the shipping is too expensive, then the respective import tax makes it a huge push factor for purchasing LTT merchandise. Well has it ever been considered to partner with distributors in said countries so that the orders come from a local source? Surely there are companies around that will act as gateway that LTT can utilise to redistribute their designs.

  1. LTT send T-Shirt + Hoodie designs to partner company
  2. Said companies sell them on behalf of LTT and take a commission
  3. European fans get cheaper access to the merch and everyone is happy

I feel like LMG is missing out here because there is such a huge audience in Europe who would probably buy a few items but just ignore it as it is a Canadian store which automatically means £££ to get it to us.

Apologies if this has been talked about before, I did do a quick search and didn't find what I was looking for.

Linus did answer this just last week. They are experiencing too much issues as is and need to get everything worked for North America first. After that, they can start looking into having some retailer etc. as partner in Europe or other regions (AUS/NZ).

Shopping to the US is already $20+. Shipping to the UK/Europe will surely be $50+

Depends on the courier. DHL was something like $25 from US (wrist rest sized package). I had to pay €7 import fees added.

  • 1 month later...

Is it possible that EU shipping has actually gone up lately? In Spain, shipping used to be 6-8 dollars and now the cheapest option for the water bottle is 21 USD (via Canada Post Tracked Packet, while FedEx is even more expensive). Another example: the Lanyard, which is $9.99 but has $11.19 in shipping.
