NVIDIA Surround on 3 1440p monitors; can't use 7680 x 1440

I just got my two BenQ PD3200Qs in and I added them to my existing BL3200PT. Each monitor has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440.

 

My graphics card is an Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. My two PD3200Qs are connected via DisplayPort connections, while my BL3200PT is connected via an HDMI connection. This is because my card only has two DP connections and two HDMI connections. 

 

The issue is my maximum resolution available to me is 5760 x 1080. How can I get my HDMI connected display to go to 2560 x 1440 in Surround mode to enable the 7680 x 1440 resolution?

Okay, so I have 3x 3440x1440 Acer Predators x34p. I needed 3x DP ports.

 

I suggest perhaps use integrated graphics DP port and passthrough that?

I'm on X99, so I don't have integrated graphics available. I'm trying to execute this on one graphics card over two different connections.

HDMI to DP adapter?

 

I'm using GPU but I have 2080 Ti with 3x DPs.

Doing some research, I found that the reason why I'm limited to 5760 x 1080 is due to the HDMI connection's limited bandwidth in Surround mode. That's no problem in standard mode. Triple 1080p monitors in Surround mode is no problem for mixing and matching display connections. However, higher resolutions requires the higher-speed DisplayPort connection. I'm not sure about HDMI 2.0 being capable of such resolutions (correct me on this), but the PD3200Q only supports HDMI 1.4.

I know this seems old by now, but I just got my new RTX 2080 Ti installed. All three displays are connected to all 3 DisplayPort ports, and the maximum resolution I can only select still is 5760x1080.

 

I'm now like, pulling my hair out of my scalp, as I still can't figure out a solution to make 7680x1440 even available.

So using CRU, I found a front/back porch timing discrepancy between the BenQ BL3200PT and the PD3200Q displays.

 

So fyi, if you're trying to set up three displays using their native resolutions, use Custom Resolution Utility and copy the resolution and timings of your preferred display, and paste it for the other two displays. Doing this makes the NVIDIA drivers read all three displays as having identical specs (other than native resolution and refresh rate), and therefore, exposes the maximum resolution.

 

Using my setup as an example, these are the settings used to expose 7680x1440:

Those settings are directly taken from the BenQ PD3200Q, and I applied them to all three displays with zero issue. The default refresh rate is 59.950 Hz.

Finally bro thank you! I was pulling my hair and just gave up at a point. The YouTube vids didn't mention the copy/paste. One of my monitors was getting detected as 1080p when in surround set up.
