I just build my pc but if I plug it in to my monitor it does not give a signal. If I turn on the computer there is a red light thats goes on with next to it CPU. I already googled and I have tried everything. All the cables are in and it CPU doesn't have bent pins. I have a ryzen 5 2600x, Aorus Elite b450 and a rtx 2060 super. The onboard graphics also don't work. Is it possible that I have a faulty CPU?

The 2600x doesn't have built in graphics, so it would not ever give you signal.

You nee to use the GPU for signal, but since you mentioned that separately, I assume you used the GPU for video signal?

Anyways. Try resetting the BIOS (check your motherboard manual how to do that exactly. Should be found under BIOS or CMOS reset) and turning it on and just wait a bit. Some people say AMD systems take longer to POST.

Every other fan turns on? You have the 24 pin, 8 pin into your motherboard and your GPU also has its cables plugged in?

technically all should work, but it could be that you have an older bios that somehow doens't support your cpu.

What does the debug led say?

Gamesystem: X3700, 32GB memory @3200mhz, GTX1080 Hybrid

Unraid system: Epyc 7352, 24/48, 96GB ECC buffered @2666mhz, 2x GT710, GTX1050Ti

The debug led only says CPU. I don't have one with numbers.

Is your cpu installed correctly? Ea the triangle lined up with the triangle on the board?

Have you tried reseating your cpu?

could be a faulty cpu
