Wi-fi Direct On Laptops: Possible?

Hi,

Is it possible to do wi-fi direct connection between my laptop (Acer) and my phone? My phone has the feature but I didn't discover yet the feature on my laptop. Has anybody tried this?

Thanks.

What do you mean by wifi-direct? If you mean connect to a wifi network on your laptop and share it with your phone, Windows 10 has a mobile hotspot feature that works.

You have to turn on both device's wifi port.
