Insufficient wattage will result in the PSU running hot and thus shortening its lifespan.
 But the CX is Halfbrige and the CXM is Double forward wich is kinda crappy. Especially when pushing it! FOLDING MONTH 2021! Especially when pushing it! Correct, but considering OPs system of a 2400G and possibly an RX570 future upgrade it won't really matter. 6 hours ago, EL02 said: I wanted something cheaper since 450w is enough. If the Corsair CXM/CX is out of the budget then have a look at Be Quiet System Power 9 or Corsair VS450 (grey label) The VS450 is available on that website you linked for 39 Euro. https://www.e-gate.gr/587595/corsair-vs450-450w-12cm-fan-80-white-cp-9020170-eu CPU: Intel i7 6700k | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450
