well... it collects some info, but nothing like bank info and stuff

Your browser has access to everything that you do with it (the URLs, content and input on every page you visit), so a malicious browser could very easily steal your credentials, such as by reporting back everything that you type in a password field. Brave doesn't do that, but it is possible for something to do that under the guise of a legitimate browser.

Yes it's quite good.

 

I've been using it since it came out, probably the best 3rd party web browser.

Have been using it for a quite a while no issues and it appears to be more reliable than some others including chrome.

I've recently transitioned to it myself, HOWEVER you can never be 100% sure.
 

Sure, Brave is claiming to be completely anonymous etc etc etc, well you know what? So are Google, Facebook, Microsoft and others.

Hehe true. But I had high hopes because it's open source. You can see what's inside the source code.
