Threadripper 2920x + Asus Zenith Extreme Alpha

Howdy fellas.

Been lurking for ages today though decided to sign up on the forums.

So im building a system with a Threadripper 2920x on the Asus Zenith Extreme and im going with 32gb of Gskill 3600mhz RAM.

I set it all up for the first time yesterday. Mounted the cooler (wraithripper), put it inside the box connected all the cables and all and went for the first boot.

Now this motherboard has tonnes of features i probably never gonna use but one thing that is super useful is that small screen that shows you if there's an error in your setup.

Anyways i couldn't POST and got an AD error Memory not detected.

So today im taking it all apart. You need to remove the cooler to be able to remove the RAM sticks. That kinda sucks.

I wanted to ask if there's something else im missing that i should check out before putting the cooler back and trying again?

Thanks.

*quick edit:

Im using the Be Quiet Dark Base Pro v2 case and it has this small pcb on the the back for all the fans and RGB goodness. Now the Asus board has one as well. Which one should i use?
