CPU temperatures to high

Hi everybody,

 

I just build my new ggaming pc and everything works fine except the CPU temperature is a bit high for my taste.

im using ryzen 3800x with kraken x62 and the temperatures are about 45C-55C idle, and over 80C under stress.

I changed the stock termal paste with the best i could find in the store, rechecked if the pump is mounted correctly.

and checked if the pump is actualy working (the tuber are vibrating a bit) but the temps seem a bit high.

On the desktop my temperatures are 45C and when i open chrome it jumps to 65C and then back.

 

is this normal,do you have any suggestions on what i shgould do?

Increase pump and fan speed a bit - make sure it's not overvolted by the default bios setting.

Phanteks eclipse p400 tempered glass

The radiator is mounted in the front with push cooling

What happens when you take off the side panel and front panel?

the core voltage is set by default at 1.472 V, ist this to much? what voltage should i set for my cpu?

That's quite a bit. Lower it a bit and see where the stability point is.

Run cinebench a bunch of times and see what happens with the tempatures over time not just with random spikes.
