Help!!!!!

So I just bought an MSI RX 570 Gaming X that was used, and when I got home uninstalled my nvidia drivers as I was upgrading from a 750 Ti, when I tried to turn the system on with just the 570 in it, it wouldn't bring up any display at all and my monitor would go off due to sleep mode on it. I tried resetting the system multiple times and tried both hdmi ports and displayports but nothing. I believe 570 was being used for mining before but I'm not sure. The 570 when plugged in does light up and the fans do spin on it but I just can't figure out why it isn't working to bring a display up.

What motherboard? it may be trying to use the integrated graphics instead of the GPU.

the 570 needs a 6 pin power cable connected, did you connected that cable on the gpu? the cable comes from the psu, the 750 doesnt need one, but this one does need it

It's a MSI 970 Gaming motherboard, and the 570 I have is a 8 pin that that was plugged in each time I tried the card

not sure if that old motherboard might be having problems with the bios of the gpu? im not sure, perhaps your old motherboard needs a bios update

 

but a 970 motherboard surely was abandoned in 2013 more or less

 

not really sure what to recomend there

What power supply are you using?

For my motherboard it's the MSI 970 Gaming that came out in 2014
As for my power supply it's a Corsair CX750m

So I was able to get my to show display off my 750 ti and I had my 570 popped into the second PCI-E slot and I got some screen shots of GPU-Z

Had to find the vbios through msi discussion boards and use ati flasher to reflash the card. Then tried the drivers for amd again and boom working card.
