So I've watched the 2 videos LTT has done on editing/modifying/hacking the nvidia drivers to make a headless mining card a capable gaming card. I'm wondering, asking even, if we can see a part 3 dive into further hacking the driver to make a mining card transcode more than 2 streams for Plex. Nvidia limits all Geforce cards, but not the Quadro cards. Removing this limitation would open up a door to lower cost trans-coding possibilities.

There are a few videos out there on removing the limitation on regular Geforce cards, but they're all in Linux. I found a way of doing it in windows and succeeded in that. Now I look at helping others do it, and trying to save them some money using mining cards.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area. Mods feel free to move it.

Where can we get this info? I would also happy to be able to do some more transcoding. :)

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!
