Im looking for a little help, I have dyslexia and when I'm typing long e-mails or letters I make the odd mistake that I just don't pickup on when reading it back myself. When I had a Mac I could just highlight the text and right click on speech, but have found I can't do this on Windows.

I have tried windows narrator but it seems to want to read EVERYTHING on the screen and the only other programs I can fine ask me to copy and paste into another window. Is there a program that I can just highlight the text I need reading on screen and right clicking on it or us a macro key ?

Any suggestions would be a great help.

Thank you all.

Windows has similar Text-to-Speech feature, or screen reader as they are known. You find it from Accessibility features. There's also free software called NVDA. You could also use Google Translate, I think.

If you use MS office to type then you can just click on the speech button on the ribbon menu to read out the text.

It's under the Review section in word and under the Home section in outlook.

Awsome ! Thank you for the tip. I didn't know you could do that.
