Is it worth to upgrade?

 So i have an i7 3770k with a really crappy motherboard p8h61 mx R2.0

I have 16gb ddr3 1600mhz ram

And a gtx 1070 8gb

I want to upgrade to a ryzen 5 2600 with a b450m motherboard and 16gb ddr4 3000mhz ram

I not sure if it is worth upgrading. My pc seems to struggle running games at a stable high fps.. my cpu and gpu usage is always below 60% which imo looks like a cpu bottle neck.. could anyone help reinforce my choice? Thanks

EDIT : my cpu and gpu usage is usually below 60% in high cpu usage games such as GTAV

More than fine. Perfectly sufficient for oc. You'll have to order an AM4 mounting kit though

Poor VRM, and useless-limited BIOS. The latter is unforgiveable on Ryzen IMHO.

So is the pro4 better at the same price?, I dont really want to go hard with oc'ing anyway.. ill probably just experiment.

Is the ram ok ? My brother said that ram is important for ryzen

Yes, the RAMs are fine. 2nd Gen Ryzen& B450 chipset is actually pretty good with RAM compatibility..

So will i keep that ram and just go for the b450m pro4 instead if the ds3h?... And it would be a worthwhile upgrade?

Don't bother ordering from the UK or from Ireland itself, it's overpriced.

I usually order from Germany and the Netherlands. For Germany you can use this price comparison site:

https://geizhals.de/

If you want a specific site then you can go for https://www.caseking.de/en

Ordering from newegg can sometimes be cheaper too but the warranty is a real pain in the arse, not worth the headache IMO

AMD 5900x, 2x16GB ( G.skill F4-3600C16 ), Radeon VII, Radeon 570,  Corsair 1200i , SSD 240/500GB, HDD 640GB,1TB,5TB, 1TB NVME. Lian li 011Dyanmic XL, big ass LTT mouse-pad & stealth water bottle
