What Camera for Video recording to get for ~500$

Hello.

Recently I got into situation where I am required to get my own camera for video recording. Since for most of my time I worked with Video Editing, I never had to think about what equipment was used.

I dont know a lot about cameras themselves but I do have an idea of formats, resolutions and something maybe more.(Or lets just call it nothing)

Do any of you have ideas for cameras I might look at?
I do have some list of requirements:
1920x1080p 60p (well, thats basic)

Must have a mic input and preferably a mic mount with it - since we use some good Rode microphones and in-built ones seem to be quite horrible usually.
It could have and extra place for headphones aswell.

Now another question? Handicam vs DSLR?

I hear its quite big debate about witch is good. I heard DSLRs have a lot better battery life + Mic/flash mount is already on most of them and you can have some beautiful DoF effect with lens that you usually wont get with small Handicam lens.
Handicams seems to more have already mic and headphone input plus some neat quality of life features but die on battery and so far I havent seen any handicam with Mic mount.

I am open to all suggestion/opinions.

Thank you.

Would you consider used gear? Something like an older Panasonic G7, Sony a6000, or Nikon's D3400 are good places to start and have a variety of lens options.

All of them shoot 1080p 60fps.

Ironically I found all time of them findable in my price range in local stores.

Panasonic G7 seems to be only choice out of them because it has Microphone input. Sadly it does lack the amount of effective Pixels.

If only A6000 had input. Is there maybe something else? Bit unsure deciding on my own

Lack effective pixels? Are you sure you're looking at the right camera?

Panasonic G7 can do 4k30 or 1080p60. That doesn't sound like a lack of pixels to me. :/

Well, I ment 16pixels compared to 24 (if I look correctly)

16MP (MegaPixels) is the same as just over a standard 4k width (4920 x 3264). For video, you won't need more then that in the near future for streaming video. Especially when you consider that the bitrate it records at (100MB/s) is still well above 4k streaming on every mainstream platform.
