Not without significant mods to the BIOS at the very least and even then it's iffy at best

The simplest boards to support the 8700K would be the H310. Or B360/B365.. H370, Z370, Z390.

I think those are all if I'm not forgetting anything :P

 

The chip is LGA 1151, but many refer to it as 1151-V2, which is more appropriate since you need a 300 series board

Im going to do some machining on the ihs of the 8700k and i needed a socket to preload the tension on the chip so i can get accurate measurements. 

So my intention is to cut up the board for just the socket
