Everyday Usage

I am trying to help put some parts together that my mother can use for daily use. She plans on using it for spreadsheets, docs, movies, and just everyday use. The PSU will be used from an older build of mine but has been kept in shape. Let me know what you guys think. The CPU may be a tad overkill. I want this build to last her as long as possible.

I couldn't find the deals that I wanted to for AMD. I'm buying my CPU and mobo from MicroCenter. If you can find a bundle that has similar power and price on their site (Chicago location) I'd be more than thankful.

Thanks much! I'll scan through the parts in a little as I have to skaddadle, but rest assured I'm thankful! Westmont would be alright, but my family and I usually spend time downtown since there is a lot to do.

No problem. That PC will do plenty for what you say you will do. Plus, it can do basic gaming.
I only suggested Westmont because that's the one I've gone to most. I rarely go to MicroCenters in general because both of those are quite a long drive away. I always make a point to stop by one if I'm in the area though. Happy shopping!
