Using a Keyboard switch as Power Button

So, I bought a sh!t tonne of holy panda's and I wanted to see if I can make an on button for my PC out of one of them, is there anything specific I need to do??? How do I do it, I wanted to replace the power on button in my Corsair 570X with a holy panda switch with an artisian keycap, it looks like the switch would fit in fully. I have seen mods on reddit of people doing this, so I know that it is possible and I wanted to know how to do it.

In theory there is nothing needed special, as both a PC power switch and keyboard switch are a momentary closed circuit signal.

So I should just be able hook up the front panel power switch to the switch??? I may just use some wire to test the  theory first because in ideal conditions I dont really want to destroy my Power switch for noting. Thanks for the help

shouldnt need anything special. fit it up, wire it up and you are done
