Just a huge thank you to Linus and the entire team

Lewubro

Just to be clear upfront: I know that LMG is a business. I know that they do what they do to generate a profit. Now that that is out of the way:

Thank you Linus, thank you LMG team! The hours, most likely even days and weeks of joy you have gave me is something I can't thank you enough for. I consume a lot (and I mean A LOT) of Youtube content and yours just stands out. The mixture of information and entertainment is outstanding and your production value at this points just matches this quality. I know that you guys are not perfect and I am not claiming that you are, but you are damn good, if not the best at what you are doing. I tried to lay out some of the points that I think seperate you guys from the majority of content creators:

1.) You are not afraid of change. I think it's great to witness that you constantly switch things up in order to improve, sometimes even taking some steps back to get the best result. Best example: you destroyed most of the warehouse sets in order to build the condo because you realized that the look of a "real place" just added something that regular sets just could not provide. On the other hand you made the switch to more aggressive thumbnails a while ago because you knew it was relevant to the business.

2.) You listen to your fans. In all my Youtube years I have never crossed a channel that managed to listen to its fanbase just as good as you do. And by that I mean that you really seem to take a close look at the feedback we give you and manage to seperate trolls or haters from the rest of the bunch. Whenever I scroll through the comment section of any of your videos I will found some comments of you "having selled out" and wishing back the good old NCIX or garage days. And there are a lot of these comments. But you seem to be aware that it's just a few people being really loud instead of a lot of people. On the other hand you listen what gets "demanded" by most people. e.g.: we wanted more videos with Anthony, you gave us more videos with Anthony.

3.) Transparency. Sometimes, you guys screw up. It happens. A former boss of me once told me: "I get nervous when no mistakes happen. It means that people are not doing their work."  You guys work a lot and besides all the quality control in the world, some mistakes get carried out to the public eye. But you always manage to react to that in an absolute professional way, apologizing and explaining how it happened in the first place and what steps you are going to take to avoid a similar situation from now on. But what I like even more: you never beg for forgiveness. I always feel treated like an equal and that is all I want. And you don't only do that when there are mistakes but also when you feel like you need to clearify on some things and misconceptions about LMG. TBH: I feel like I know everything about your company to understand how it works, how it is making a profit and who is in charge for what. And I can't say that of a whole lot of business.

I am aware that this seems like a blind praise of LMG but tbh: why wouldn't I? The amount and quality of content I get FOR FREE from LMG is outstanding and I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Linus and his team.

You, Linus, managed to gather people around you who are just as crazy about tech as you and we all are. I am looking forward for any of your content.
