Is my ethernet port dead?

Hi I have a new motherboard A320 PRO-E and I think in the first month the ethernet port died.

My internet stopped working for some reason it seened fine the lights were on and everything but after I repluged the cable I think it died I tried afterwards with another cable abd it didn't work help someone?

Does your internet still work on other devices?

Have you tried other ports on the router?

If it is "Truly" Dead, get an RMA

Other options are to use Wi-Fi, but no...

I would use a loopback plug, if you know how to operate one as wel

I would try booting another OS like Linux from a USB. If you still get nothing from the port and the BIOS says the Ethernet port is enabled, and you already ruled out the cable and assuming the device on the other end is functioning you may very well have a dead port.

If normal internet/wifi yes

If not I haven't

Yes I've tried every router port

nvm fixed it by wiggling it arround hard enough so it was the port

Not dead but not in a great shape overall
