Is the NZXT Kraken M22 any good ?

I'm planning on building a new pc with the new ryzen 5 3600 and i'm planning on doing some light overclocking.

Will the nzxt kraken m22 be suitable for this ? I know it's way too expensive for it's size but i'm also buying it because of the looks

It's good for buying ONLY for the looks. It can beat the wraith coolers for AM4 but even $50 big thermalright coolers can beat it. It's like $70 each and comes with an unproven design from NZXT itself instead of rebranding Asetek designs on their other AIOs.

It's NZXT's in house design entirely, which is their first.

The design is from Apaltek. It's not as prominent as Asetek's coolers but I'm not sure what would be required for a design to be 'proven'. 

 

The M22 isn't spectacular when it comes to performance and its only strength relative to the competitors are the looks. If that's exactly what you're looking for, it's fine for some light oc'ing.
