Yep, NF-P12 is excellent: https://it.pcpartpicker.com/product/VNBTwP/noctua-nf-p12-redux-1700-pwm-708-cfm-120mm-fan-nf-p12-redux-1700-pwm

Hello everyone, i've got a high doubt.

Well, i just had an ANTEC Kuhler H600 Pro and it was nice for 2 years, now something happened, i've seen the fan is kinda stuck and can't move properly and i got HIGH temps (Like 81°, hella crazy yeah), so i guess i had enough from AIO cheap coolers, even if i had it for 2 years.

Now i wanna buy a budget cooler, i don't wanna overclock but i surely need a good one since seems like FX-6300 gets pretty warm.

I was tempted by the CM HYPER 212 EVO and here's my doubt...

I got 1x8 gb high profile Corsair Vengeance RAM in Asus M5A78L-M LX3 mobo.

Do you think the cooler will fit inside if i move the RAM to the second slot?

Another question is, is it worth to get a HYPER 212 EVO in this CPU? Will it be enough?

I use my pc for medium gaming (As my old 7870 Ghz Edition permits) and i don't wanna overclock, but my house gets really warm in summer, should i switch to something else?

Thanks in advance for the people that will help me

Yes

No, not with that absurd scissor mounting that goes behind the motherboard. Good luck aligning that with the motherboard's cooler mounting holes.

Which model do you advice? I'm new into air coolers and i don't know their models...

Also, i was wondering if i need to get low profile RAM or i can stay with this "huge block" of vengeance

I don't think so to be honest, my pc lacks of fps when it gets 65°+ and it's not related to the GPU since when it has lower temp it's stable without any fps drop

Lol. All of those coolers cost more than the fx-6300 is worth.

I just searched up the max safe temp for the fx-6300 and it seems that you're right, 65C and under is recommended for it.

You can reuse a cooler as long as there's mounting bracket for such platform

Mhh seems like they're over the budget i expected, isn't there something cheaper but still good for it? I was also thinking about a arctic freezer but idk if it's worth and better than 212 evo

It will certainly be enough for this CPU, I had the same cooler when I was running the FX 6300. The only small problem with this cooler is mounting it to the motherboard. But once you get it secured it will be an amazing cooler.

I'm completely in doubt on what to do now, if i should give the 212 evo a try or give up cause of the mounting and choose another...

Have you tried contacting Antec for a fan replacement?

Well, you're kinda right, i got it for 2 years and the warranty is 5 years, but i'm highly worried if it's just the fan or the whole AIO got some more problems.

Do you think the slower fan (Since it's kinda stuck and rotates slowly) can make all that? Or would there be more things?

Also, what's your opinion on that AIO?

Yes. If the fan isn't spinning, most of the cooling performance is lost.

If replacing the fan doesn't solve the issue or the AIO itself has another problem, Antec should also be able to help with that.

The H600 Pro seems alright. It's not a particularly great nor horrible unit.

I'm giving a try to my actual aio cooler, but since Antec ain't replying i'm planning to purchase a 4 pin pwm fan to fix it by myself, which one could i choose with a low budget? The actual one is a 120, 1800 rpm

Yep, NF-P12 is excellent: https://it.pcpartpicker.com/product/VNBTwP/noctua-nf-p12-redux-1700-pwm-708-cfm-120mm-fan-nf-p12-redux-1700-pwm

Would it be powerful enough even if i had a 1800 rpm before and this is 1700?

Yes, it'd be fine and the NF-P12 is easily better than the stock fan in terms of performance / noise. You can expect similar or lower temps with less noise.

Sorry for the long time waiting but i haven't been able to get here, i'd like to thank you all, specially @WoodenMarker, i bought the NF-P12 and everything seems alright, i got 49° after hours of gaming, this is an excellent result for me :)
