about a week ago i changed some components in my pc including the motherboard, psu, ram, and case, however when i turned it on a text on the bottom right says that windows is not activated. i’ve tried multiple times to fix it with the help of some tutorial but still can not figure it out. thanks in advance

That is your problem if you retype the key in the activate windows section does it go away?

I live in misery USA. my timezone is central daylight time which is either UTC -5 or -4 because the government hates everyone.

New motherboard equals new computer in Microsoft's eye's. You can try re entering the product key or calling Microsoft. Keep in mind if the copy of Windows was a retail copy then they will be more than happy to help. If it was an OEM copy of Windows then your mileage may vary.

Where did you get the license? Is it connected to your Microsoft account? OEMs which aren't connected to MS account can't be transferred to new hardware.
