Is this Printer Any Good?

Has anyone used the lexmark mc2425adw ?

Scams Club (Sam's Wholesale Club) has it for $249.00.

Is there one like it for cheaper (kinda hard to find one with color and duplex)?

Just some weeks ago I got my parents a Lexmark C2425dw (which is basically the printer you mentioned, but without scanning) and it's working out quite well.

Personally I like the way the toners are replaced (not with some huge tray that slides out, but just some slots on the side). The installation process was quite easy too, although there obviously was no scanning software to be installed, so that makes sense.

 

Toners are not the cheapest, but not very expensive too.

 

I don't think you have very many alternatives for a similar price; as especially the whole ADF makes most printers more expensive. You could have a look at Brother's and OKI's offerings though. Keep in mind the toner prices too though, as that can really change a printer's price.

I buy my toner as a second name brand, never from the printer company. I currently have an old laser monochrome printer but I need an AIO color. 

I'm weird, I prefer the tray. Brother is about $50 bucks more but I will double check.
